"Camelot/3000" is a 2017 episode of American television series Legends of Tomorrow, which is based on superhero characters from DC Comics. While the episode's title is a reference to Camelot 3000, a DC publication, the two stories are otherwise unconnected although they both employ various elements from Arthurian legend.
Plot[]
The team of heroes known as the Legends is on a search across time for the Spear of Destiny to prevent the Legion of Doom from acquiring it. Their quest leads them to the year 3000, then to the medieval kingdom of Camelot, where they meet Guinevere, King Arthur, Galahad and various other knights. They also discover that former Justice Society of America member Stargirl has become the court's wizard, Merlin, and helped to shape Camelot into the kingdom of legend. Later, Arthur is mind-controlled by Damien Dahrk, a Legion of Doom member acting as the Black Knight, and is made to oppose the heroes, killing Galahad in the process. Eventually, Arthur is returned to the side of good and the Legends manage to retrieve a Spear fragment, which was hidden inside Excalibur, keeping it out of the villains' hands.
