Y Seint Greal (‘The Holy Grail’) is a medieval Welsh translation of a combination Grail quest in which the Old Vulgate Quest is followed by the Perlesvaus with minimal changes to allows them to be read as a single, coherent romance, if one doesn’t look too closely. This combination appears in some medieval French manuscripts and is therefore not an invention of the Welsh scribe.
